Old dresser, new dresser.

This started out as an experiment, I wanted to bring new life to this old dresser. But well I'm kind of lazy and didn't want to spend hours and hours sanding. So after a little bit of Google research I found this product oil base stain blocker primer.
After giving the furniture a good scrub down to make sure there is nothing on it, start applying your first coat of primer. I used a roller brush, since I'm not that handy and don't know how to pain without leaving brushstrokes....i also only put 1 coat of primer on but next time i will put on 2 or 3.

I'm in LOVE with this color of blue! So after I let the primer dry for 24 hours, I just started to spray this on as evenly as possible!

Painted the inside walls, since there was one drawer missing.

The finished product, we use this in the playroom now to keep some games and smaller pieces of toys. Added a few baskets from the dollar store to complete the look.
This piece of furniture has held up quite well since I did this in October. There is a few scratches on top and is showing the brown underneath. But we have no peeling or rough texture! I'm also pretty sure that the top is laminate and not real wood at all.

Over all I am quite happy with the results of this and will be using this brand of primer and spray paint on my next furniture make-over!!
